Proposing was easily the most nervewracking moment of my life but thankfully Coo made everything surrounding the proposal so simple, easy, effective, and fun! From helping plan a route for the perfect proposal spot to helping capture the perfect pictures (as you can see here), he made the experience all the more enjoyable. It wasn’t just the fact that he captured excellent pictures – it was his helpful directions. He was in constant communication with me leading up to the proposal. He gave us specific instructions on how to pose, but he also let us just soak in the moment and enjoy our time together as new fiancés. He sat back and worked his magic while we enjoyed what just happened, which we really appreciated. Another thing I really appreciated was him filming a video of the proposal while capturing photos. I didn’t request this but thanks to him, we now have a previous video capturing the moment that we will always watch. He also was quick with his thinking – when it started raining, he found us the perfect spot under a tree to take some of our favorite pictures, and he graciously gave us an umbrella so we didn’t “catch a cold”. From the very start he was extremely helpful in selecting a location in helping me select the best location in Kyoto to propose in considering the weather at the time, crowds that would be around, and what the lighting would be like at that time of day. Coo helped my boyfriend plan my proposal, and he picked a gorgeous spot for him to do it! He was super knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure my proposal was special, and he captured our first moments as fiancés beautifully. He led us around the park and Gion to make sure we got amazing shots. The photos were delivered so quickly as well! He also has amazing food recommendations. Every restaurant we’ve tried from his list has been fantastic. Can’t recommend enough!

Coo was absolutely amazing! My fiancé surprised me with a proposal at the Bamboo Forest in Kyoto, and Coo captured the moment perfectly. He gave great directions, picked beautiful spots, and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the shoot. The photos turned out stunning, and the entire experience was seamless. He went above and beyond by answering all our questions—not just about the photos, but also about traveling, food and staying in Japan. Super friendly, professional, and talented. Highly recommend!
 
My experience with Coo was amazing. He was stationed at the proposal site where my fiancé had planned to propose and captured our raw emotions as the moments unfolded. After the proposal, we had a surprise photoshoot together – even though we are naturally camera shy, Coo helped us pose and bring out the best in ourselves.
