Kyoto Maternity Photographer | Autumn Photoshoot in Higashiyama
On November 2 , we photographed a couple from the USA during their first trip to Kyoto. They were traveling to Japan during pregnancy and wanted to capture beautiful memories surrounded by Kyoto’s traditional scenery.
Although this was a maternity photoshoot, their main focus was not a traditional maternity session. Instead, they wanted natural couple photos while enjoying the historic atmosphere, autumn colors, and beautiful landscapes of Kyoto.

A Quiet Early Morning Photoshoot in Higashiyama, Kyoto
For this session, we started at 6:30 AM in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto.
Higashiyama is one of the best areas in Kyoto for photography because it offers a combination of traditional streets, historic architecture, temples, and beautiful natural scenery.
Starting early in the morning allowed us to enjoy the area before the crowds arrived. The quiet atmosphere of the streets created a more intimate and relaxed experience for the couple.
