Coo and Yurika communicated extremely well at every step to make sure that our Elopement photography session was the absolute best it could be, even going so far as to send us a message a few days prior to the shoot to rearrange spots to optimize the cherry blossoms in our photos! Once we met on the day of the shoot, Coo was very understanding since this was our first ever photo shoot together. He guided us through some great posing and scenery, and we were able to get some simply amazing shots from our session. We booked a 120-minute session over 3 locations, and the total time shooting was over that. When we travelled between photo locations, he didn’t deduct that travel time from the overall shoot, so we got an amazing experience. After our shoot we were sent some preview shots and given a timeline of when to expect our photos, and they came earlier than we anticipated. I can’t suggest them enough for your photo shoot in Japan!

Coo was the ultimate professional during our photo shoot in the Higashiyama Ward in Kyoto! I can’t begin to describe how he made our photos with a large group so comfortable, effortless, and ultimately beautiful. Firstly, he was very prompt and even found us in the crowd before the start of our scheduled shoot which helped ease the anxiety of making sure we were in the correct location. He was able to direct our large group in order to get great photos in varying combinations in different locations. He was so kind and patient and even accommodated our 5 year old who needed an ice cream break in the middle of the shoot. He was more than communicative which led to him suggesting a new location because he knew of a beautiful place where cherry blossoms were blooming. We could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our families memories. We will definitely book with him again the next time we are in Japan!

My fiancé David and I booked Coo for our engagement photo session in Japan, and we were completely blown away by both the final photos and the entire experience. From the very beginning, Coo was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our engagement shoot a special one.

We initially chose him because his portfolio stood out—his work had a natural, romantic, and artistic quality that we loved. We especially loved how he captured a couple in sakura blossoms. But we didn’t expect just how much he would go above and beyond to make our photo session perfect. During the planning phase, Coo was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. We really wanted sakura (cherry blossom) trees in our photos, and since it wasn’t peak blooming season, he suggested shooting with Kawazu-zakura, an early-blooming variety in a place I couldn’t find online. Not only did he bring us to a beautiful location, but during the planning phase he also gave us multiple options for back-up settings in case of bad weather. His attention to detail really helped us craft the exact vibe of photos that we wanted—youthful and romantic.

On the day of the shoot, Coo arrived early, fully prepared and enthusiastic. Both my fiancé and I are naturally a bit shy in front of the camera, but Coo had such a warm and easygoing presence that we quickly felt at ease. He gave us gentle direction without making things feel stiff or posed, and his sense of humor helped us relax and enjoy the moment. By the end, we weren’t just taking photos—we were laughing, having fun, and truly savoring the experience and also time with each other.
